Course Description: Python for Beginners

Already know the basics of Python? Ready to turn your code into real-world tools? This intermediate course is where the magic of Python meets the early power of A.I. Students will dive deeper into programming logic, data manipulation, and explore how Python is used to solve problems—like predicting trends, analyzing data, or powering chatbots.

With useful, real-world datasets and powerful tools like pandas and numpy, your child will learn how to think like a real developer and create programs that interact with the world around them.

 Key Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

• Work confidently with files, data, and complex structures like nested dictionaries.
• Learn foundational computer science skills: sorting, searching, and problem-solving.
• Analyze and visualize data using real-world Python libraries.
• Understand what A.I. and machine learning are (in a fun, intuitive way!).
• Build interactive projects like mini-recommender systems or data dashboards.
• Present a data-powered project with pride!

 Course Format:
This 5 week course will be delivered through a combination of live lectures, hands-on coding exercises and projects. Participants will have access to online resources, coding platforms, and community forums to facilitate collaborative learning and support. Classes will be twice a week for 1 hour each. These are group classes with up to 6 students.
